Does anyone know why the video of Seven Seas of Rhye from Top of the Pops wasnt put in GVH1?

Because, officially it was erased, and only very poor copies have survived so far.

As posted on Brian's site sometime last year, they found the video in the archives after they'd finalised GVH1 and therefore couldn't put it on. But since then, they've been on the lookout for a better copy than their current one. So if anyone has a really good copy...

On Freddie's millions they said the copy is long lost from the BBC archives and all they showed was a recorded copy from a fan that they taped on video when it was actually on and it is in really bad condition but you can still work it out.
