So many timing differences between LP and CD reissue versions! Especially in 'Killing Time'/'Abandon Fire' case.

The only difference is the mastering error in the end of I Cry For You track which has a few seconds of Racing In The Street beginning.
So the running time of the last track is 4:21 instead of 4:17.

Not true. They were actually remixed (as in: the separate tracks of the master-tape were reconstructed and put together again, which is: a remix).
Remix firstable is the operation of mix-down from original multitracks to stereo signal. Crossfade of the tracks is not a remix.
Do you think 'Heaven For Everyone' and 'Las Palabras De Amor' on Greatest Hits III cd are remixes? They're simply crossfaded. Here is the same thing.
