I'll try and get there, it does depend on the person who's coming with me....... Mind you I'm sure he won't mind.

It also depends on me, as to how much money I'll have, and if I've been drinking else where before hand.

I think this officially makes the two of us "instigators"! I don't remember what time the doors open or when the gig starts, plus it's in UK time and the conversion will be difficult for this American to calculate at the current time rate. HA! I don't want to get totally wasted as I would like to actually be able to REMEMBER the gig I have been waiting to see since 1980!

Should be fun. Looking forward to meeting lots of nice people.

I say we take the Hard Rock Cafe by storm! In a nice way, of course. I'll try to get a feel for how many of us will be there and give them advance warning. This should be fun!

I spoke with the manager of the HRC in Manchester and they're expecting about 20 or so of us in the bar in the afternoon/early evening on the 4th.

What would be a good official start time?

Couldn't email you--no address . . . absolutely join us! Not sure of an official start time yet, and it would be dangerous for the City of Manchester if I were to sit in the bar by myself drinking for hours. Could be an international incident or two if left to my own devices and too many Cosmopolitans ;-) To avoid such an incident I am trying to get a feel for when others will arrive.

To those who have been going to the shows: how early do people start lining/queueing up?
