Hi all,

Here's my first post!
We all know how great these 2005 shows are, so I'm not going to discuss this.
I've seen the Brixton, Antwerp and Rotterdam shows and each time, before the show starts, the same tape (cd?) with various rocking songs is played to warm up the audience. One of these songs is an instrumental 'airguitar' song. Never heard it before, but I think it's great. I'm sure many of you know what song I mean. Anyone knows the title or artist? Thanks al lot.

I´m going tomorrow to globen, and I´m just wondering what other songs there are, beside the air guitar one, to warm up the audience?

Maybe you are looking for "F.B.I" ? It was played before the Leipzig gig. It's a B-Side of Brians "Another World" album (I'm not sure about this, but I think it's with Status quo ?!?).

The song you you're thinking of is instrumental song made by The Darkness, i thought it was called "bareback"
P
Oh right, it was "bareback"... I knew it sounded familiar ;-)
(have to listen to "FBI" again...)

They DEFINITELY didn't play F.B.I. in Leipzig, I would have noticed that :-)

Well, instrumentals... they're all the same ;-)

Hi all

I was wondering if any of you could help me with a question as to the songs played before the show.

I was in Hamburg (Germany) and before the show they played a queen song from (It´s a beautiful day)but it was a remix, nearly like into a white label version. Does anyone know where i could aquire the song ?
Would love to have it for my club as it was pretty long and was one of the best songs i heard that evening even though it wasn´t live....

Best wishes

Hi all,

Just got back from short holiday.
Thanks for your replies.
@Andy: it's surely not FBI. I know that song (and it's great, especially Brian's version).
@Kickforce: I'll get a copy of Bareback. The song I mean sounded "older" than The Darkness, but I'll find it out.
@Richard: I did not receive your e-mail. You must be mistaking me for someone else.

Couldn't make out too many of the songs as the crowd were making a lot of noise at Cardiff, but definately heard a couple of Stevie Ray Vaughan tracks before the start.
