More out of interest than anything else, does a studio version of Hangman actually exist? I've read varying reports, just wondering if someone can confirm the truth?

There is a nice "really rare" version of Hangman played at Milwaukee in 1976 (I know it's not a studio version but I felt I had to mention this :P)

i searched my entire 1976 tour list - japan and USA and can't find Hangman in a setlist...was this a "one off" performance?

Brenski-Just checked on www.queenconcerts.com and sure enough, Hangman was included in their Milwaukee set.

The version on the bootleg Sheer Japan Attack was pretty unusual. They played Hangman like they always did but it was followed by some sort of fast rock track, whitch was called "Shag Out" on the bootleg.

What is 'unusual' in Hangman...
You don't need to listen very close to hear that nearly all recordings of Hangman all are slightly different. In lyrics, in melody AND musically...
The "Shag Out" part is on (nearly) all of them - also the studioversion...

The first (and for years and years only) boot to call this part Shag Out is originally called 'Stunning Live in Tokyo'
But that was just a bit off topic ;-)
