Actually, no he doesn't wear a yellow jacket, moustache, or a vest. There are only three of them and musically they are excellent They don't pretend to be Queen, they just play the music how it should be.

Sorry my friend, I'm living in the real world, I'm not a loser, and I paid good money to see them, and I would again.

Heh newcastle 86! your funny you should of really looked into GAGA first before assuming anything, but i do agree with the Queen tribute band who just go out there are recreate the 86 tour. Come on guy, Queen did more then just the 86 tour you know!! when I go see a Queen tribute band I want them to play all the hit and other songs

And before he stick his big nose in no BPP the QPR tour isnt a Queen tribute band tour

I saw them at St Helens theatre royal a couple of years ago. Made a promise to myself never to watch another tribute band.

They play Queen songs. That's it. The singer don't sound like Mercury and don't play like May.

well as i say tribute bands aint my bag buyt each to their own i suppose ive seen a few clips of "killer queen" and he is sometimes spookily too much like the real thing

Thanks.

A different evening. I was a bit disappointed with the vocals, but I think this was partly due that the lead singer sung one note too long and may have strained his voice for the first half.

The venue is all seated, with not much room between the seats which never adds to the atmosphere.

Tried to get the crowd singing along, but as the majority did not seem to know the words it was a bit of a disaster(tried with AKOM which didn't work well, and LOML was played at a strange, if not erratic pace which made it hard to sing a long to at all).

The lead guitarist was good, and the bass seemed to mimic John, i.e. not moving very much.

The encore was good, but that was also because everybody was standing (RGG, WWRY & WATC).

If they played to an audience of Queen fans (e.g. the Fan Club Convention) I think it would be a much better show as there would be more audience participation.
