Whose better?

Why?

Personally the Doors, But I do love Cream, And would shell out all that money to see them live in London.

Really?
Cream all the way for me.

Not just Clapton's awesome guitar work (which I feel this era of Clapton is just as good as any Hendrix) ....and not just Baker's tribal drumming style...

But that damn Jack Bruce... his haunting tenor voice...and jazzy bass lines.

In my honest opinion...
Jim Morrison may have been a interesting performer... but I don't think he had much of a voice.

And his "lyric" and "poetry" books that are over advertised here in the USA as "works of art" are hardly average to me.

I don't think Bernie Taupin or Dylan have anything to worry about.

Cream are better musicians, but the Doors made songs that changed people's lives, while Jim was not the best performer or singer, he was a great poet
IMO, I like CD's or Bands that make a full album you can sit back and listen to, I can with the Door's, The cream ,I love thier songs but I can't just sit back and listen to them.

I'm the other way around... I can hardly ever get sick of "Tales of Brave Ulysses, NSU, I feel Free, Sunshine of your Love, Anyone for tennis, White Room, etc,,

For me, in the Doors... the best part is when Morrison shuts up.

Ie: Intro to Light my fire...middle of Light my fire.

Music to "Riders on the storm".

I like the Doors...

But I like Cream much better.

For me, Cream. I like a few songs from The Doors but they're so incredibly overplayed and I've just never been able to get into them the way I did with Cream. Disraeli Gears is one of my favorite albums. :)
Resistance is futile. You are now an orb.

The Doors, IMO.
M
the doors, no doubt about it

From what I do know, I'd have to say Cream, if only because I think the Doors were highly overrated.

I'll have to find band wars 1, 2 & 3. I might have better luck with them.
