It is obvious that the Wembley show will feature at least the same setlist as Sheffield (perhaps without Under Pressure) with maybe even more surprises, but what about the Irish dates? Both concerts are not yet sold out and Dublin and Belfast are not prime cities like London, Paris, Barcelona, you know what I mean..
Anyway, we can get a Newcastle kind of show with no extras but on the other hand we can be extremely lucky as Paul does not need to reserve his voice anymore and get a Sheffield/London kind of "extended" set list. What do you think?
See you there ..

No chance - they have a formula now that works.

Paul can't risk ANY damage to his voice with the upcming outdoor shows o think about.

I think I can guarantee you that at least one song *won't* be played in Dublin. God Save The Queen is most unlikely to be played at the end of the show. It was not played at any previous Irish show for political reasons. Possibly the ADATR outro might replace it or maybe something else? It will be interesting to see.

Of far more interest is whether it will be played at the end of the Belfast gig and there is a potentially difficult and politically sensitive decision to be made for Belfast. My guess is that, on balance, it won't be played in Belfast either.

Finally, does anyone know where the band are due to stay in Dublin? I was thinking of heading out to their hotel and possibly getting some autographs...

As long as they play Wishing Well, Feel Like Making Love and Another One Bites The Dust (Under Pressure will be too much to ask) I don't care if they close with "The Fields of Athenry" or "Jerusalem"

republic-check my thread at the bottom-"tip on meeting the boys?"
Some1 said the 4 seasons in Ballsbridge so I might chance heading out there in the afternoon-might c u there!

Yip it was i who suggested four seasons...thats where most bands who play Dublin stay...given it is the last leg of the Spring Tour i reckon they will throw a bash in Dublin for the crew etc and all stay overnight
Hello again my beauties

To be honest I would be slightly surprised if the band stayed in The Four Seasons which is in the grounds of the RDS which is on the far side of the city.

As you may know, traffic in Dublin can be really dreadful at times and it can be a nightmare trying to get through it. Having said that, it should not be too bad on a Saturday.

I guess they may stay in Belfast on Friday night and travel to Dublin on Saturday but who knows? Is there anyway we can find out???? Where are people going to meet up??

I reckon they might stay at The Clarence, no? Anyway I'd feel bad waiting around looking for an autograph it'll be a great night can't wait.
S
The Clarence might be an option since Roger was there several times for U2 parties. Anyway, see you at the Point!

What ages are all of you going to the Point? I'm 18 going on my own, no friends would come, so I'm standing on my own, most of my aunts and uncles are have seating but I chose standing cos I wanna get right to the front.
