taylorgaga (Begg): "hey from the quality i got thats what it sounded like! so if i heard it wrong then i apologise but thats what it sounded like to me"

No probs, but from the way you were talking, I thought you lifed the lyrics from the 46664 DVD - so the quality would have been the best around!
"Listen to them. Children of the night. What music they make."

Has Brian played on this song at all on the tour, or has it been just Jamie and Danny each time?

sounds like the stuff i wrote in junior high...

Brian played it twice at 46664 (Cape Town 2003 / George 2004), on the remaining gigs it was played by Jamie and Danny.

After checking that site these might be the right words, almost :D

The harder we play
The faster we fall
When we think that we know it all
We know nothing at all

The letter arrives
Like a bolt from the blue
So what's left of your lives
All your dreams lost to you

Say it ain't true
Say it today
When I open my eyes
Will it all go away

Say it's not true
Say it for real
Can't be happening to you
Can't be happening to me

It's hard not to cry
It's hard to believe
So much heartache and pain
So much reason to grieve

With the wonders of science
All the knowledge we've stored
Magic cocktails for lives
People just can't afford

Say it's not true
You can say it's not right
It's hard to believe
The size of the crime

Say it's not true
You can say it's not real
Can't be happening to you
Can't be happening to me

that looks pretty good to me - just listened to it! i hate it though when you can't quite work out what the lyrics are - if in doubt just mumble ;-)

At that 46664 site, I read the following:

Is This The World We Created? (Live)

Additional DVD Introduction: (by Andrea Corr)
Thank you. I'm absolutely honoured to sing this next song with Brian May. It was written by Brian and Freddie Mercury, and for so many obvious reasons, it is very special tonight. One of those reasons being, that I will mention, is that the last time this was performed it was, in fact, on Live Aid by Brian and Freddie. Now, I think we all know how successful the Live Aid campaign was, let's hope tonight that this campaign 46664 can achieve as much, if not more. "

Last time on Live AID??? I thought that this song was on the setlist during the Magic Tour. Andrea must do her homework better, or I'm making a huge mistake here.
I got to try al little more, because I'm an asshole but I'm learning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NfTLkUcQ7QY

Fantastic song....a bit lennon-esque...and truly amazing...

Roger sung this on the Cape Town 46664 as "magic cocktails for life". Then the tape was edited for the DVD and you listen "magic POTIONS for life". I prefer the lyrics with "cocktails".

Cheers,
