Are there any shows from the Works tour with Freds voice in good shape ? I dont have many boots from this tour as I dont like listening to shows where his voice is shot.
I once read on a site that one of the Jap'85 shows has Fred "in particularly good voice, much better than any other show from the Works tour". Can anyone shed any light on this ?.

i would say, Live Aid! and Not Fade Away-Wembley 84! they sound great!
The first show of the Works-tour. Brussels 1984 (I believe it is 24.08.1984). One of Freddie's best performances ever!
Birmingham 8-31-84 is a great show, as well as Tokyo 5-9-85. I'll never stop raving about that one.
I'd go with milan september 1984 - great versions of somebody to love , and in loml brian plays a bit of brahms lullaby . Also Japan 11th may 1985 - Rock in Rio - mediocre - why did they release this when on they were on fire in the Japan 11th May show ?
I think that the Works tour was wrong! Bad voice, bad guitar sound, bad drum sound. I don´t know why, but Brian´s guitar sounds so weack, it just doesn´t rock, and if you compare it to the previous tour (Hot Space)then it´s beyound my comprehension the difference of sound quality!!
The only thing good was the audience!!

Yeah, I think Brian got a bit too obsesed with chorus, to the point where the guitar sounds like its under water,
Milan, Italy - 14th September 1984. Great show, much better than the other Works 84 show I have (Stuttgart).....
