For me it's Carlsberg Export or Kronenburg
Or if I'm in a beer mood good old Newcastle Brown
nicknamed The Dog (mans best friend) or Wifebeater as it's sometimes also called round these parts!

I can't stand Bud but I like Bud Ice. Can't say I'm fussed about Heineken but if it's there, and preferably in Export, I'll drink it. My fave is Carling Premier, but I'm not so much a lager drinker these days. I'm more your vodka-and-Diet-Coke or alcopops kinda girl ...
Yes, it's me. I'm back. I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on a disk somewhere

I have supped many a pint of London Pride in my time, back when I was young and dinosaurs still walked the Earth. Go down the pub with all my mates, have a skinfull of beer, couple of chinese spring rolls on the way home and still have change from a £5 note.

Anything pulled from a barrel is better than the piss coloured gassy shit collectively known as lager.

Re: London Pride, used to drink that in The Britannia over the road from the Hammy Odeon before going to gigs. Is the Britannia still there anyone ??

Like a pint of Directors or Wadworths 6X myself.

Oh...any of you in the USA out there ever have some rank piss water beer called I think is it, Weideman? My brother used to buy it when he was short on cash back in the 80's. Even he said it reeked. Just that it was cheap as hell to buy.

I've never heard of that particular beer, but I have definitely drank some NASTY beer, when I only had a little bit of money.....the store by my house used to sell 40=ouncers of regular Schlitz for something like $1.50......certainly cheap but NOT a good beer! I said earlier in this thread how I hated Budweiser, but I'd take Bud over that any day! lol......and theres always the 24-ounce Keystone Ice cans for a little over a buck! Drink about 6 of those if ya wanna get smashed for cheap....
I'll take you to the Seven Seas of Rhye

Grolsch is fantastic, Bavaria (also Dutch) also great.
Belgium has some really strange (but very nice) beers, not according to "Deutsches Reinheitsgebot", but still tasting good, Stella Artois is a rather "conventional" one but also great.

I wonder how anyone could suggest Gösser from Austria... horrible, just like Puntigamer.

In Germany, weiss beer is especially great, e.g. Weihenstephan. Much better than Pils.
