ahh, thank you! I will have to take a look at the crappy burning software I have so I can use these covers.

Does anyone else use free burning software like

EasyCdCreater (not so easy actually!!) and BurnX or Burn4Free ?

Most normal and older cd hi-fis don't play mp3 so I converted the files I wanted to burn to .wav . Does wav files play on most cd players?

Really appreciate any help and thanks again Libor for the link,

Cheers,

Linda

PS I haven't burned any audio concerts to cds and I really wanna!!

Linda

I use Roxio to burn my cds....although if you're running Windows XP, there's a free program on there called RecordNow DX, which is good as well (you can even set the number of seconds between songs, meaning for a gig you can run the tracks without gaps).

Mp3/WMA files normally do burn to cds and work on cd players. I haven't used .wav files, I usually save them as either .mp3 or .wma files and that works fine for me.

Hope this helps - if you need any further help let me know.

Hi Linda,

the best for listening CDs on walkmans or hi-fis is to make audio CD from your mp3 or wav (or flac, but if I remember correctly, you don't like flac, do you?).

The easy and fine soft is Nero, but, unfortunately, it costs something. Then you can try EAC (it's free), which is great especially for ripping audio CDs (or copying them), but it can handle wavs or mp3s too and burn audio CD from them.

Here's link

http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/

but I should say, it's not too easy program and it takes a little time trying to find, how to work with it (and you must download lame mp3 encoder from other site to work with mp3 - there's link on EAC pages to the lame site).

In case you do wanna try, I can help a little then. (and don't forget use CD/RW for trying and learning with any new burn software :-)
But now it's time to be gone - forever...
