Sometimes I feel as if we’re getting no-where. Ok, some people think Freddie is hot and some don’t, as one of the people who think he’s hot I feel obligated to give my side of the argument as you have.
As you said yes he wasn’t “buff” but some people don’t need big muscles to find someone attractive. I have to agree things I can’t have make me want them even more but if we were offered a date with him Freddie I’m sure if he was famous or not all the lady’s here eg.
Arlene, me, Sharon G. wouldn’t say no ! As for his teeth, yes they did stick out but no one’s completely perfect. He had an overbite and had some extra teeth, well I don’t have an overbite but I have 5 teeth too many and it doesn’t stop people asking me out or thinking I look good (by saying this I’m not blowing my own trumpet or anything!), he did have sallow skin but there’s nothing wrong with that, I find it very, very, hot !!! Exotic and much better than pasty white skin !

2) In my life I have OMG, dated guys who were drop dead rock star looking gorgeous/HOT..that made my female friends jealous as all get out..
...and I have dated guys with crooked teeth, beards, wore glasses, were short, were way too tall. (I hated their looks but liked them in spite or despite these flaws because the outer looks are..again ONLY superficial.) I liked them for what good qualities they had as people.
I think we all know in REAL life, most hetero women date, marry men who are not the Hollywood Movie Star or Rock Star myth of drop dead gorgeous. We fall for the inner beauty in men of all shapes, sizes and looks, or who even ARE gorgeous when we initially meet them, then with time, they grow older with age, and they get (like Roger and most everyday real life men), grey, bald, gain weight, need glasses, get wrinkles.
That's REAL life. I personally have thought Freddie was attractive though since I first saw him at 14 years old. I STILL feel that..in the most superficial way...Freddie was HOT, BUILT, and gorgeous!
But I also adore Freddie's inner wonderful qualities, his charismatic personality, his bravado, charm, renowned great sense of humor, confidence, style, which all certainly help too.
BTW...explain to me why TONS of hetero Gorgeous women date or marry butt ugly straight men like Woody Allen, Dudley Moore, Peter Sellars, Tommy Lee. For one as you say Scott..these men are famous, rich celebrities with power...but all of the aformentioned star men are creepy jerks who beat their wives and cheated on them left and right.
Oh...another point, all of my friends, hell even my Mom back in the late 70's thru Live Aid thought Freddie was HOT and gorgeous.
Last I always felt that while Jim Morrison is superficaialy good looking, he grossed me out and turned me off BIG time with stories of his woman beating (especially Pam), ignorant treatment of his bandmates and colleagues, cro-magnon opinions of women (especially Pam), self indulgent meandering work with The Doors whose music I detest.
