Hi NATO, I saw all the same shows as you. A couple of Cork guys on tour eh??? Was it just me or did Danny rock the house the other night. I also think that as Queen fans we are all very lucky that it was Paul Rodgers who toured and not some Freddie wannabe (you all know who I mean). I'm lucky in that I've been a fan of Paul's for years though I had never seen him live. He really did bring something different to all those wonderful Queen songs, and his own material speaks for itself. Unfortunately I can not make Hyde Park but fingers crossed for a return tour, after all they never went to Scotland

And Danny Miranda was and is an EXCELLENT choice. Have you actually listened to this guy's bass lines?

Flawless.....

Best gig i have ever been to. It was just brilliant. Brian May was.......cant even describle how good he was on the giutler. its never going to be the same without freddie but if you go expecting Paul Rodgers to be like Feddie then you will be disappointed. I'm not saying paul was disappointing, he wasnt. i thought he was brilliant and has one hell of a voice.

I was disappointed they didnt sing Dont stop me now. You see so called "super-stars" like Madonna charging €100-130 for tickets where she will lip sink for an hour and go home. i paid €65 for my ticket and it was worth every penny. value for money and extremly entertaining.

The guy on the stand was brilliant. he was just pretending to do the solo but then everyone started cheering him and he couldnt stop....brilliant. just want the crowd need. since there wasnt a support group.

Brian May hinted they might do another tour......****ing hope so.

I thought Radio Ga Ga and Under Pressure were the best songs preformed on the night.

Danny's like the cat that got the cream, it's like 'look at me I'm playing bass for Queen'. The guy looks as if he's enjoying every minute of it.

They know me by now. These few months have been great, especially with the net. I saw Queen twice in '84 and twice in'86 and I can remember checking all the newspapers every day for a little scrap of info about those tours. Now we have the setlist an hour after the show ends, downloads the following day, photos and Forums. How times change.

Hi GUYS I havent been around the forum in ages due to being very ill and in Hospital for a few days only back to work today,i posted last time about being in a car crash well it seems my luck hasn't changed and i was in hospital on Friday and nearly missed the gig on Sat night. But nothing was going to stop me going to what was the most amazing concert i've been to.I had great seats right at the front balcony overlooking the stage and have some amazing photo's(which i will try to post dont really know how to), though i forgot to get new batteries and my camera wouldn't turn on for ages, so i took the batteries and rubbed them in my hands for 20mins and by some divine intervention that worked and i have a great one of Roger in the Blonde wig that a guy in the audience threw up on stage and an amazing one of Brian at the end of the runway when the big glitter ball was shining it's so pretty!!.Couldnt believe how close the guys with standing tickets could get to the stage. Paul Rogers was in great form and even though Brian forgot the words to 39 he was in excellent voice. The whole band were amazing and really got involved with the audience and looked like they were having lots of fun. I cant really describe it in words so i'm not going to try i just cant wait to see them again. xx aisha xx
