Hi guys, were they really at the Sheffield gig? Wow! I mean, I didn't have the guts to go because it would be too heartbreaking, and THEY did!!

Maybe they moved on with their lives...? Unlike many fans...
Well Brian announced Freddie's mum was there before singing "Love of my Life" so I imagine he was telling the truth.

Well obviously they didn't love him as much as you did

LMAO! Good one!

That's great!! They're wonderful, I admire them more than ever. Wish I could tell them.

Obviously there is no comparison...That's why I was so surprised they went!!! Your irony guys is a bit predictable though...
Fenderek: you too? You used to be so nice to me...SIGH LOL

C'mon- a bit of irony doesn't mean anything :)
Just thought that them being there is really significant. I guess irony was aimed at all those posting QUEEN RIP 1991 and so on. You just happened to be the one posting about mother being there and the fact that it was so heartbreaking for you... I guess I just couldn't resist... ;) And you are right- it was predictible. Still- couldn't resist... Hey- nothing against U personally :)
PS
Quite honestly- I didn't actually notice who was posting... I guess I'm just tired of all this "oh, it's so bad / so empty / so whatever...". Those days are gone now. Fact. But it's the past. And now is now. The shows are good. Maybe the difference between me and you is- I've never seen Queen wih Freddie. On the other hand- I'm huge (HUGE) fan of Paul Rodgers- when I heard for the first tim ethey're gonna colaborate with him- I was over the moon! Me as a vocalist- he IS my hero. Now even more...
Oh I forgive you, Fenderek!! You are one of my favorites :-).
Actually I never saw Freddie with Queen live either SIGH.
And you're right: his Mom and sister being there was very significant. That's why I posted about it. Maybe if I had known how they felt about it I would have gone??

I was absolutely sure you did... Strange... I must have mistaken you with someone else :)
Having a second thought- IMO it [ his mother and sis being there] actually was more significant that I thought before...
I can't believe this is a coincidence so did they ask Freddie's mum to attend the Sheffield gig because it would be recorded for a DVD and a dedication of LOML to her would look good on the record?
It definitelly WASN'T a coincidence, but it's significant that they both agreed...
Don't they live in London? It smells like pure business if they invited them to a show that was recorded. It could mean that if there wasn't any planned DVD, there would be no invitation for the Bulsara's.

I agree. It WAS business. Still- they agreed... :)
Right. Whatever the reason, if they had been against the tour they wouldn't have gone...much less for promotion.
