I was chatting with Crystal Taylor (Rogers Drum Roady) one time and he was telling me that Freddie had a bald spot on the back of his head.. He said Freddie did everything to hide that fact.. it makes you wonder had he lived longer.. would he have lost ALL his hair..

I read Pheobe's book, he says it was a double crown and that freddie was very touchy about it...I dont think he was goin bald at all man.

I watched the video on youtube and ... I'm still shocked. It's the worst Queen video I ever saw with the worst Freddie hairstyle, make-up and acting. Stupid scenes like jumping backwards onto the drumkit or stealing Brian's guitar etc. But what's worst by far is ... ROGER's HAIRSTYLE!!! It's disgusting!

In the Kampuchea show when he comes on for Sheer Heart Attack with his hair slicked back, you can clearly see a bald patch about the size of the top of a pint glass, and that was '79.
In Mercury and Me, Jim Hutton mentions the bald spot. According to him, Freddie wasn't concerned about it. But, if you watch the WWRY video, you'll see Freddie keeps brushing his hand over the back of his head like he's trying to adjust things back there. Cute, IMO.

I thought Freddie's hairstyle from 1967, 1969, and 1973 to 1979 were cool.
Freddie's hair up until 1976 was great. I hate seeing him with short hair :P.
