REQUEST: Sunbury 1974 (Melbourne, Australia)

Does anyone know of the whereabouts of this little gem? Richard, do you know anything about it? I know it must exist somewhere???

I´ve just read that it´s said to be in the archives of some Australian TV station, but I don´t know if that has been confirmed or if anybody has ever seen footage from this show.

Karen, I've wondered myself many times about Sunbury. I read (sorry, can't remember where) that a *local* tv station had footage in their archives. I don't know which the local station would be down there, but it'd sure be worth finding out who is in charge of the archive there, and following him / her to the pub and getting friendly etc.. :)

I´m quite sure you won´t have any succes getting something from TV stations´ archives. I´ve tried here in Germany several times to get info on video/audio recordings of certain concerts(not only Queen) which are said to exist, but they always told me that they aren´t allowed to give away anything due to copyright restrictions. But it´s worth a try at least.

I think you only got a change when you have a friend working at Channel 7.

I am going to try & contact Channel 7 again. A couple of friends have already tried this before, but you never know...maybe its just a matter of finding the right person there ...
