No, don't have any problem, but this topic has been handled before. Pretty extensively that is.
And now you show up, and share this great concert. Then people still are asking for the "complete" version. They don't want to get the idea that this is all there is. No matter if SYW is played or not, it's not on this recording. So be happy, and don't question whether this version is complete or not.

I shared Houston because of a few immature elite traders (the dutch boys) were bragging about leaking Houston, but doing nothing except bragging about Uruguay 83. Now you have the gall to question what is a politically correct question about a semi-rare concert.
Even Mr Scully questioned whether why SYW or tPs was missing from this concert. Your self-rightousness about questions asked does nothing but spark resentment from those outside the trading community.

I'm here with Rip. I'm another one, who had mixed feelings regards to talking about putting out Houston77 and doing nothing then (from dutch boys side, to be precise).
And I very appreciate Mike, who didn't talk too much, but put this concert out first. Great Sir, you are the man!
The rest Mike speaks about seems to me, unfortunately, true too. Why to be so bitter, if somebody ask question about (any) concert. All in all, it seems there's something different behind your post, Willem-Jan.
Once again, thanks for this - what a spectacular recording!
edit: was 'Spread Your Wings' not included on this, or was it not played that night?
Yes it was, it was right after Radio GaGa.
I didn't take the effort of downloading it, because I've got it on CD-R (not mp3 sourced). But what do you guys think of the show as a whole. People really wanted to know every little bit of details of this show, but now that it's out, people don't seem to care. It's just one of the many. So, are you happy now, or just wanting more more more more more......
I think I know where he's coming from. People just want more shows, suddenly they're becoming just one of many. Not everybody, though, and it's nice that people can finally listen to this EXCELLENT sounding bootleg (and finish the myth of the greatest performance EVER). BUT it's noticable that no-one is discussing the show, no-one wants to know anything about it anymore- I just want SYW. No-it wasn't played... But I want it anyway. The show suddenly became just... one of few. Reading this thread it's only "thanks", "cheers", that's it. Just like "Knebworth" one or anything that had been shared here before... I would have thought it's gonna be more appreciated or more spectacular. C'mon- so many years of talking about the show and when it's out... I'm sure many people don't even know how great it is that they got it...
No- there's no Spread Your Wings, the end of story. That's the entire recording. No Prophet's Song reprise. No. As you have it here on mp3, some have in audio. There ain't no SYW. Forget the Greg Brooks book- it's full of shit. He also claims that Hangman and Stone Cold Crazy were played at Golders Green. Yeah, right. Or that the soundcheck before Oxford New Theatre is a fake and is a compilation of few other shows from this period. Yeah, right... Had he heard that stuff prior to writing the book...? Nope...
PS
Will ask differently. WHERE would those track be...? Listen to the recording and find me obvious cuts and tell me- those tracks fit HERE. The vocal improvisation ends and there's simply no roo for The Prophet's Song reprise.
Just for the record- I don't have a problem with a bootleg being out. it's great it has been shared. But... I would have expected it to be just a little bit more spectacular, for some strange reason... I thought people REALLY wanted it...

Exactly my point!
I don't bother if this show is out or not. I'm not a big-time trader. Just traded a few shows, one of them being this show. I really think it's an excellent show, and am still very happy to own this recording. But somehow, I get the feeling people are still not happy until they have the "complete" show.
OK then. But after all, this is the Sharing music forum. I think, that the debate about this gig belongs probably more to the Queen serious discussion. And more to it - as I know, this show was speaked about many many times, and maybe here isn't much more space to analyse.
And yes, there always will be people, who'll think, there is something here or there hidden, what is lost or what is absent from whatever reasons. The same situation, as Elvis Presley death. If they want to trust in something, nobody won't convince them of opposite. We should live with it.
Maybe I'm wrong, but this is, how I see it.

PS. BTW, the concert is great (with great sound), but - and try to face it - it's really one amongst others. The best thing for me, that it's from the Queen era I like the most and with superb sound.

I absolutely agree! The sound is awesome, so is the setlist, it has the most beautiful version of "Love Of My Life" (with the audience it just sounds like a football chant...- here Freddie's singing it superbly!) but overall it's faaaar from being the best gig thy have ever played. The rarer the better...?

I think it arose from the fact, there wasn't lot of people, who could listen to it. Which is now (and IMO it's right) the past. And everyone of us can compare and make the decision by ourself.
I'm glad I'm not the only one, who felt it this way.
Thanks a lot man, i really appreciate this great show.
Just finished downloading it and will listen to it on my way home.
Thanx again!
