Do NOT insult my intelligence.
She wasn't. Lisser helpfully offered advice, advice that you should probably re-read and take to heart.
I read this board thoroughly and most of the posts and topics daily, as well as daily going on queenonline, Brian's website, and various music and news websites on the net.
There are a plethora of sites out there as well, which Sergey has very graciously collected into one post which has most likely fallen off the first few pages, but is an outstanding resource and one that should be used.
.....Many topics I avoid because it's just a thread of people cursing at one another or throwing around homophobic or bigoted remarks.
Most of us avoid those too, because it only adds fuel to the fire. Only the newer posters seem to go in there yelling and screaming.
I NEVER see Barb or you or the folks that bajjer me, EVER saying anything to the homophobes, spammers, cursers who start private wars that have NOTHING to do wit Queen or topics.
Because those posts only get deleted; it would be a waste of time to get all defensive in those posts, when those people are only going to get banned.
And again...missy, That Freddie Interview I brought up, that Barb attacked me about, people on QZ were asking about and posting to that Topic Happy that I had pointed it out to them...then Barb was more than nice to Fairy about how to download it when Fairy said she was happy to haer about that interview, which she and the other people who posted to my Topic would not have known about had I not brought it up.
Missy? The only "attack" I see from YourValentine in that post is something that was eventually correct: "Oh dear .. I have visions of topic after topic starting with: "I heard on that Freddie interview..." just when the Queen MoJo mag had dried out "
Tell us you did not do that. Go on. One of the first few posts after you received that interview was ABOUT the interview.
I also am NOT demanding. I always formulate my questions politely.
Not demanding? Check out that RIEN!! & QZ Questions etc. thread again. By the second and third pages, you're constantly posting and reposting questions that no one's answered because, as Lisser said, 1) people are just tired of the thread or, 2) nobody knows the answers. And you're constantly asking Zeni how to save the file - at least two or three times, instead of waiting for a response. Maybe Zeni went away from her computer? Maybe Zeni, oh I don't know, had to DO something? Who knows.
I personally think you enjoy belittling me and it is not something to be proud of or smug about.
Get over yourself. And to say that you "cry" about what you read on a messageboard... well, I should remind you that this is the INTERNET. You're crying at what people are writing about you on the Internet? Good grief. Personally, I make humor of a situation if people are starting to take themselves too seriously. Generally, that humor is a sentiment that most people agree with, but I am also capable of an actual conversation. There's just only so much that a person can add to a topic that's been done to death so many times before.
Arlene, you sure do write a lot; I like to write too. I consider myself a bit of a writer, but I generally read books, read other webpages, do my own kind of research if I want to find out something. I also try to immerse myself in other hobbies, generally ones that involve the outdoors. Or I hang out with friends, loved ones, family, etc. If I have searched and searched until my face is blue and still cannot find an answer, I use this messageboard as a last-ditch effort.
You have the potential; really, you do. You ARE intelligent, and you are merely a fan of a great band, but you need to remember something: quality over quantity. I haven
