Play The Game (Freddie Vocal Track)

This is the isolated vocal track from the DVD-A of Play The Game:-

This is just Freddie singing, and nothing else. Very interesting and enjoyable. I have edited the track to omit any long silences, and hopefully have made it coherent.

Edit: 26/06/05:- The version I originally uploaded was a low quality MP3, so I have replaced it with a higher bitrate version, which should sound a lot better.

No, all the mixes I upload are of my own making, not taken from other sites.

I have just downloaded the version you mentioned, and mine is different, in that it's the full vocal version (2m 45s), direct from the DVD-A, with some silences edited out. There are a couple of guitar bits also in mine, which happened to be on the same channel, and didn't seem worth trying to edit out. The vocal is totally dry, and free of reverb effects.

I have just realised that the version I uploaded was a low quality MP3 encoding, so I have just uploaded a new, higher bitrate version, which should sound a lot better.

This might seem like a greedy question but would you be willing to do up any more of these (I'd be interested in Love of My Life particularly, but anything would be nice).
I like doing instrumentals to other peoples voices - and who better than my favourite band?

Love Of My Life might be possible, but it depends if the vocal is completely isolated to the centre channel. I'll see what I can do for you.

Can't be reposted. This was from back in the days when Queenzone was fun. Now it's considered 'official'.

The vocal isn't free of processing. It has been compressed

It wasn't an exact copy. There are some small edits to remove gaps, but there was NO processing. As it's not the full version of the song, I think we might just get away with it. ;)

Two things, before anyone asks - no, I won't upload it on Megaupload, and no, I won't reinstate the gaps, as that might rattle the cages of the "official" police!
