Why does Freddie always say this word? He used it a lot.

"take you to the battlefield"
"the fairy folk have gathered"
"the path of nevermore"
"now do the march of the black queen"
"and shamed the king in all his pride"
"we are the champions"
"put out the good and keep the bad"
"direct me in the right way"
"the meaning is oh so clear"


And it's interesting how his last few songs (Delilah, You don't fool Me, A Winters Tale) don't feature the word "the" did something happen in his last years that made him hate the word "the"

I think it's because of AIDS. It makes you hate a word 'the'... Or the word 'the'... gezz, now I'm confused... ;)

In some languages, for instance in my native Russian, ain't any articles and they doesn't translates usually, so there's no any differences for us between: "put out the fire", "put out fire" and "put out a fire" even :) they all translates similar.
