Yo everybody. I'm new here so bear with me. I was wondering if any of you know where I could find mp3s of the august 9th 1986 concert (aside from eBay anyway). This (as many of you probebly know) was Freddie's last concert with Queen. I'm kind of a sucker for Queen rarities if ya know what i mean.

Great Thanx so much
...welcome Killar! Freddie? What Freddie? Never knew there was any Freddie in Knebworth in 86. Can you give us some insider information? Probebly.. ???
All I know about this is that it was the last time Roger, Brian and John performed live with Freddie. Why would Freddie in Knebworth be odd?
This may seem like a dumb question but: What is FLAC file anyway?!?!
I tried to get the Mp3 version but it said "File Not Found" is the site out of date, or do you think is my connection just being stupid?
nevermind it works now
well actually I tried Knebworth 2 but it didn't
work. And by the way, I'm no "her" I just like the name "KillarQueen" because I like the song

erm whatever lol
ok thanx for ur help everybody
Anyone seeding this concert? Thanks!
FLAC is an audio filetype, like mp3. The difference is, mp3 is a lossy format, while FLAC is lossless?
FLAC has 8 different levels of compression.
Level 8 is a very low compression rate: teh files are too big, but the loss of quality is pratically 0.
Level 1 is the highest rate: the files are smaller, but the quality isn't great.
FLAC is lossless, whatever level you choose. The difference is only between in the compression factor. Creating a level 1 compressed file will be bigger than a level 8 compressed one, but the process is faster in the first case.
*Mp3pro is a newer technology which allows you to make better quality mp3 files using higher compression rates.
MP3PRO is indeed a newer technology, but the objective quality has been proven to be worse than some other audio formats. Whatever people say, the quality of a 128kbps mp3 file will most probably be better than a 64kbps mp3pro file. :)
Ok I got both now. thanks again. I've most of Smile's stuff, and the stuff they did with Larry Lurex. Perhaps I'll post them sometime.
