Despite this show being seeded here just a few weeks back, and also me seeding the extra bits after that, I thought I'd do the neccesary cuts and edits and put together a COMPLETE show in as excellent a quality as I could source. If you have the p3 download and the extra bits, you have all you need to do this yourself. But for those who didn't download the wonderful quality P3 transmission or the extra bits, or are not inclined to patiently edit wave files, this is for you.

24.12.1975 - Queen at Hammersmith Odeon, London, UK

Comment: This is a COMPLETE recording of this legendary and brilliant Queen performance from Christmas Eve 1975. It has been compiled from several sources, with the bulk of it coming from the Swedish p3 broadcast (originally seeded on DimeADozen by humanoidboo). The sound is absolutely Excellent.

"See What A Fool I've Been" and "God Save The Queen" are from a subsequent BBC FM re-broadcast (originally seeded on DimeADozen by EskimO), while I have ripped the "Rock 'n'Roll Medley" from the dvd. These tracks were then volume adjusted to match as close as possible the Swedish P3 broadcast..

There are a couple of edits and slightly quick fade ins and outs that were neccesitated by the removal of the Swedish radio team's comments over the top of the concert, but there is NO music cut, and overall, it's an excellent version of this fanstastic gig.

It could very well be that a better version will come along this year, courtesy of Queen Productions. :) Fingers crossed.

Please will you direct me in the right way?

Right here, where I've been since I posted it. Do you think I would post something and run away? :)

This is just a straight FLAC bit-torrent download. All you need is a bit-torrent client. To play FLAC you need the plug in for WinAmp or Flac Front End which to convert back to wave files. Nero can burn straight from flac to cd.

P3 is not a new technology - It's a radio station. The original torrent was a transmission from the Swedish radio station, P3. :)

Sorry. I just assumed that people would have seen the original thread.

Enjoy the download. It's a great show. Any more questions, don't be shy.

Thank you very much, that's a great show.
It was the first Queen bootleg CD I've ever bought (centuries ago) !

It's just audio, and it does have the start of Now I'm Here.

i've seen the concert briefly on the television and thought it was a total WOW! Have always been looking for it and now have found it. Seen Queen back in 1980 at the North American Bites the Dust Tour and loved every second of it...now, can you help me find either the Milwaukee 1980 or Chicago 1980 concerts???

If so, I would be much in your debt...lol

God Save the QUEEN!

I'm seeding again. There were three completes at lunchtime, but they apparently were hit-and-run downloaders, (or should that be freeloaders)... I went off for a few hours, and came back to find everyone stranded.

This torrent thing will simply not work in the long term if people who finish the download do not stay around to help others out.

I'll seed until there are 5 completes, and then I'm going off. Let's see if it can stand up by itself or not...

We all seem to be stuck on 75.2% now.
Death to Rapidshare. Long Live BitTorrent!!
