I finally "discovered" the personal section the other say, and thought I'd start my first topic.
Any Muse fans on the board? I myself am a very big fan, although I only got it to them around Time Is Running Out/Hysteria. Since then, never looked back really. Showbiz, as a debut album, his sheer class. Muscle Museum and Sunburn are awesome. And as for Falling Down and Unintended - two of the best 'slow' songs I've ever heard. Origin Of Symmetry is amazing too. Every song has a killer riff, Micro Cuts, Hyper Music, Citizen Erased, New Born...! Then Absolution, the most different Muse album, far darker due to the coverage of the Iraq war at the time of making the album (originally was supposed to be a lighter album, but they found themselves getting drawn away as they watched more of the war on TV etc). Blackout and Ruled By Secrecy are top, Stockholm Syndrome is a great rocker... the list goes on.
And live - get the Hullubaloo DVD if you haven't got to see them yet like me, fucking amazing.

Muse fan since 2001! :)
I spit on Muse
Muse is a great band. three musicians that know how to rock! and i confirm their music is not boring at all.
i love 'em!
I LOVE MUSE!! They're definitely the best rock band to come out in the past 5 years.
'Absolution' is one of the best albums I've ever heard. After that, I decided to get their other 2, 'Showbiz' and 'The Origin Of Symmetry'. Both brilliant as well.

Muse are SHITE, apart from one song: Thoughts of a dying Athiest. Its brilliant. But apart from that, they're gay crap unoriginal bastards!!!
Origin Of Symetry is one of the best albums i've ever heard, even though i dont like Muse.
"gay crap"
"unoriginal"
"bastards"
but OoS is one of the best albums you've heard...
you ARE retarded aren't u.
and Niek, u don't know their songs so u don't have any right to judge their music dude!
JohnMercury - your wonderful and intellectual description of Muse matches almost word for word that of JohnLydon's as seen in his profile. MUST be coincidence...
Anyway, gay crap? What a clever analogy. Clearly Mused is rinsed with homosexual references. Unoriginal bastards? Aren't they just - who would use guitars and drums and a bass and make class rock music? Copy cats.
There is nothing wrong with saying music is not your taste, but they aren't real reasons and are just crap.
For those who are mature enough on this board to answer grown-up things: any one had the pleasure of seeing them live?

So Muse is gay crap?
How many of us haven't heard the exact same comment about a certain band callled...

I was very dissapointed of NOT being able to see them live when they came to the States.
By the time I found out they were playing, the show was already sold out.
Shame, I hate it when then that happens. Happened to me recently, with Audioslave. Found out they were playing Brixton bit too late. Anyway, I NEED to see Muse when they tour for their new album, hopefully by christmas. But Hullubaloo is a DVD WELL worth getting, and the 'soundtrack' album is class too.
What I'd give to hear Muse cover at least A Queen song, I think it'd be amazing. Bellamy is one of the few people around - in my opinion - that could do justice to a Queen guitar track.

Crazy Little Thing Called Me, a present...

Why would Muse ruin Queen? They didn't ruin Feeling Good at all, or Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You, or House Of The Rising Sun (can't think of any others covers they've done at the mo). Not to automatically suggest these songs are/are not better than Queen songs, but I recon they'd to a great job, but I'd like to think they'd chose a more less-commercialised rock track unlike Hammer To Fall, something a bit more gritty, like Let Me Entertain You, White Man, or anything from around that period.

That's not a problem.
I don't have much Queen to upload that isn't already around, but I gotta a decent amount of Muse if you or anyone is interested.
Just gimme a shout.

Do you have any live performances?
