Of course, Virgo is the only female sign of the twelve, so "mother Mercury" makes sense, imagine a rock star with the name Ishtar Venus Isis Aphrodite -- Queen of Heaven!

Mercury was not a greek god. Have you ever saw an Untold Story? Is a document about Freddie. And if I am right Brian was speaking about the reason why Freddie chose that name. He told it was caused by one of Queen songs which is written by Freddie. Mercury has a few meanings in English language. Freddie in one night just told,I will be Mercury. And from that time the whole world knows him as the King of Queen-Freddie Mercury.
