If there's an available studio version of the opener to The Works tour (no, I don't mean the album version of Machines (or 'Back To Humans')) can someone share it please.
Not to be a real pain in the arse. but

www.queenconcerts.com
I don't want to be a pain in the ass, but that wásn't his question.

Yeah, there's a studio version. Is it available for download? No
"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'." (Genesis 1:1)
He meant a studio version. Not a version from a concert.

He means the studio version of the intro tape
"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'." (Genesis 1:1)
nO, DOESN'T EXIST.
THE ONLY THING LIKE THE INTRO IS IN THE EXTENDED VERSION OF MACHINES, BUT IS A PART OF THE SONG.
what about the studio intro tape of Radio Ga Ga? i take it that doesnt exist either eh?
Why would you like have it? It's crap. The Works is crap. The tour was crap. Oh did I mention the word 'crap' already?

You seem to have issues Rick. Would you like to share them with us?

The Works tour wasn't crap. Maybe not as good as some other tours but definitely not crap!
This is not a discussion forum. "keep yourself...", make a request he or she doesn´t ask for your opinion abouit. so, Can you say "i Have it or I dont´n have it", that´s all the deal.
Don´t be jerks.

Rick mate, your 18! how can you say the Works tour was crap when all you've got to go on are bootlegs and maybe Tokyo and Rio on dvd?

Believe me, if you had seen & heard the Works show up close and personal in '84 like I did I think you would feel a little differently.

Great gig, great set, great lights, awsome sound,
shite support act but one great night which I still remember nearly 21 years later.
Hehe, I do like the 1984 Works-tour. But I prefer the seventies Queen :-).

Oh, in THAT case let's all burn our Works tour bootlegs and albums!! Cos RICK doesn't like it...come on queenzoners...I've already deleted them from my computer, c'mon now, don't be shy....

:P

Easy on, Linda. It's not my favourite Queen era, the 1984 tour wasn't bad at all. It has some nice gigs, but overall the tour for ME was not good.

for me the works tour is good but not the best. the intro is espectacular, but "tear it up" sounds best in magic tour, and hate the version of AOBTD. It's a Hard Life is amazing and the medley of the first era too.
