anyone else a fan of old radio programs??

i know that i am but are any of you? if so what are you're favorite shows?

Radio Revisited

My favourite has to be the original two radio series of the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy. They were way better than the books that were based on them. Also the Goon Show. I love anything to do with Spike Milligan, and these shows showed him at his creative peak.

And I'm longing to hear HHGG radio series and I have been longing to hear the goons for ages! Everyone seems to have loved them!

How about Radio 4's version of "Lord Of The Rings". Thirteen one hour episodes (I think) which for me was better than the films because you had to use your imagination to visualize the scenes.
