I'm glad you're all enjoying! Now, this file is the Mayor's speech as taylorgaga asked! It's not actually the Mayor of Boston on the recording... Is a guy called Mark Reynolds (or something like that, can anyone confirm the name?) reading a statement from the Mayor's office...
The file had an awful "tape stop" noise at the end of it, so I applied a fade out...
Here it is: http://rapidshare.de/files/2120834/Mayor_s___QueeHello I am attempting to download this show, and the speech. This rappid access site won't allow me to obtain the file, and I am told towait one hour before downloading. How can I get around this?n_Day___Statement.mp3.html

Hi donovana! This is happening because Rapidshare is a free webhosting service, so it only lets people download 20MB per hour!...
You can fool this service by disconnecting, then washing your cookies (on internet explorer) and then reconnecting! This should work if your IP number changes everytime you reconnect..
Hope I could help!

Thanks Ivanonymous, I love the Hot Space tour concerts, cos the songs sounded really more powerfull and Queen-like than on the album.

I like this tour too, but I don't know why I don't like the American Leg.. Just the European / Japanese Legs...

Maybe they were there too exhausted? European leg was first, then a long american one and in the end Japan, but not so long as america. I at least haven't noticed that.

sounds great any news on the sound quality guys?

I wish people would stick to the topic in hand and not wander into insignificant bullshit like what name somebody has!

Totally pathetic!! Attention seeking, lowlife losers come into mind with nothing better to do than to "talk bollocks". Not funny at all.

Just download Boston if you want to and keep your kindergarden mentality for the 3 year olds.

Good point about exhaustion. I think these shows may well have been/were shorter than the European shows. Who really knows but they did do a very extensive tour in 1982 so maybe it was taking its toll towards the end.

Freddie once said, and I can't remember when exactly, that they were playing so many shows that they never wanted to see a stage again!

Could be one of the reasons why they decided to take a break in 1983. The only year I recall where they didn't play any live gigs at all.

This exhaustion thing can be seen on the Live Tokio '82 video... Well, maybe "exhaustion" is not the word, but you can clearly notice that Freddie's voice is in pretty bad shape!...
