Can you catch the gators? I was afraid to bc I thought it would just waste one of my poles.
My fishing story? Well once we (me, mum and dad) were out at our favourite location and not one nibble, nothin'. Then being winter it got dark quickly. As we were packing up I got a little nibble and thought that I may as well reel in, the fish'll jump off before I get it to the jetty.
Was I wrong. It was a decent sized Herring. Oh, fair enough. I'll give 'er another cast. Same thing. A herring. Then my mum and dad join in. We are suddenly swamped by fish. They are coming in faster than we can reel them in. We went from no fish to a bucket full in 15 minutes.
A shame I don't eat fish. Best memory of fishing I've got. Ooh, the first time I caught a fish too. That was cool. A Herring.
