That's right. Freddie's got that '90s voice in the song, so it must be written in 1990/1991.
John: "It's the one thing I wish I could do - sing."

For the guys who can hardly read - again, take number two:

"...and the roots of You Don't Fool Me are in Hot Space session, but song was recorded in 1991."

From another source:
"You Don't Fool Me (Demo version)
Roots of this song come from this [Hot Space] era, but the song itself was released on Made In Heaven album."

So it possibly COULD have been written in the 80s and sung in the early 90s then... ;-)

I sure hope all of us can recognize Freddies voice being different as each album after The Game was recorded.During Innuendo and obviously in few tracks for MIH he needed some echo and was not sticking hi notes as he once did.Thats why i posed this question because he voice in To much love and this could be heaven was booming like his voice was in songs used from Mr Bad Guy.Thanks for awesome response

Can`t say i agree with the high notes issue.

Heaven for Everyone was written for the "AKOM" album and was obviously not used. Roger then offered the song to Joan Armatrading which was turned down so he went on to use it on the Shove It album.

I totally agree about the voice issue. I was one of those that payed a lot of attention to the sound of the recording and to Freddie's tone on each song. That was what led me to Beautiful Day being from the Game sessions. Then it was confirmed a few months
later.

Fenderek has the correct years near the beginning of the thread.

Peace,
Adam.

MAYBE THEY DON'T USE HEAVEN FOR EVERYONE IN AKOM, CAUSE NOT IS IN THE STYLE OF THE ALBUM, IT'S A SONG IN DIFFERENT TEMPO AND STYLE OF THE ALBUM.

Please calm down... or are all PC´s in Chile "capslocked" all the time? :-))

Well, before i knew when "let me live" was recorded, i had always thought it was recorded for the MIH sessions. The song itself wasn`t finished either, so i assumed they didn`t have time to finish it. That was also a reason for why i thought that was from the MIH session.
Not sure what you mean Adam, but do you also think he didn`t reach the high notes around the "Innuendo" and "MIH" sessions?
In my mind he reached them very clear, just listen to "Don`t try so hard", and he sure had the power in "Show must go on". Just my thoughts though.

I agree listen to songs like Headlong, Innuendo, Delilah and The Hitman aswell didn't he reach the high notes.

I didn`t quite understand what you ment there. You agreed that he did reach the hight notes, or that he didn`t reach the hight notes. Not so important, but nice to know what you ment.
