Despacito anyways imply a diminutive

despacio = SLOW

Despacito = little slow...sounds stupid in english but thats the literal meaning.

Thanks for clearing that up! I remember asking my high school Spanish teacher about 10 years ago what "despacito" meant and she said she hadn't a clue...
