Does anyone know who took that? That is truly a "money shot." I don't have that photo in any of the Queen books I have bought, nor have I ever seen it for sale on eBay. I have seen a collage version, but not just the single photo. Was it ever in one of Queen's calendars? If so, which year? I don't see it in Queenzone's picture gallery either (I believe there is a black and white version.) I am surprised Queenonline.com doesn't have it for sale, although the photos they do have for sale are quite limited and, in my view, not that outstanding.

If your talking about the pic on the cover of the Wembley DVD in '86 then I don't think it's an actual picture. Unless it's edited to look that way.
I remember this picture being in Q magazine in B/W about 1994 ish, so it is a real picture.
The real version is in black and white, and is not particularly rare at all.
For the DVD they simply coloured the original black and white picture. So the picture on the DVD is fake in a sense.

Carboengine: Is the picture from the DVD the one you are looking for? That one is a great shot, but I've seen another from the same gig (or maybe the same tour) that I think may be even better, IMHO. He's not wearing the jacket in the shot I'm talking about, he's wearing the big shirt with the cartoon characters on the front. The way the sleeves are rolled up and tacked back it almost looks like a cape. Have you seen it?
I'm pretty sure this picture was recently featured in the Q/Mojo QUEEN special edition magazine a few months ago.
It's in color on the Wembley DVD as someone already said. I like that picture i have it as my wallpaper on my computer.
I have a huge Queen calender (unopened) from 2004 that features various rare photos from Wembley.
The cover is this infamous pose...in the yellow jacket.
The calender is huge... its 14x18 (big for a calender)

I have one of those too! I won it from the mods on the QOL board! :D
:P the mods arn't the ones who give the stuff away!
Actually, Yes. It was a mod that gave me the calendar as it was his contest.

No, I don't think I have seen that one. Is it in the Queenzone picture gallery?
Yes, the one I like is the picture on the Wembley DVD cover. Also, Hollywood records has it on its Queen site: http://hollywoodrecords.go.com/queen/
At the site, click on the moving images of Queen's cds and choose the Wembley cd cover.

Was that the tribute magazine at Barnes & Noble? The stores I checked were all sold out.

What's a "mod," please, and where do you suppose the mod got the calendar, or is it a homemade put-together thing?
My friend has one of the unofficial 2005 calendars, and this picture is featured as one of the months in black and white.
