The thing is right it's only Queen fans who are calling them Queen +PR. The press and general public are still calling them Queen.
So quite frankly they may as well use the name.

Like PR is gonna hang around long anyway. I'm sure he sees the 2005 tour like Christopher Eccleston sees being the new Doctor Who; something interesting to do once but then move on and not get committed to it

I would accept Queen+Paul Rodgers to become Queen, but only with Deaky. Otherwise they can form a new band.
Thank God it´s Queen + Paul Rodgers instead of Queen + Camilla Parker Bowles... She could never replace Freddie in any way...

I doubt if Paul Rodgers does become a personal fixture his name would get dropped. He was a name before Queen were and in the world of rock he is a legend, probably the most respected vocalist alive along with Robert Plant. That respect comes from his peers as well as the fans so dropping his name would be false economy. There are plenty of fans who attended the tour because Paul was present, hence the Bad Company and Free material being played. Paul has had an amazing career so in the unlikely event this does become a long standing arrangement, a name shortening to just "Queen" would be bizarre.

Reason is that in my opinion BPP has changed quit a bit during the last couple of weeks in responding to different topics.
What realy annoyed me in the past were his "Queen 1991 RIP!-only responses".
Sure he didn´t change his attitude towards Queen+ Paul Rodgers... but he is supposed to have his own opinion like everyone else in here!

Yes, he is...but when he tells people to burn their tickets it just gets annoying and spoils the tour for everyone. So many people couldn't WAIT for this tour cos it was their first time to see Brian and Roger live - me included. And I love Paul Rodgers, he is a legend!! Of course he's not Freddie - no shit sherlock - but I'm sick of seeing all BPPS topics about the upcoming tour and how 'crap' it is.

Not quite true, yes Freddie was my favourite and in my opinion the driving force behind Queen but that doesn't mean I didn't appreciate the skills and song writing of Brian, Roger and John. I love the band and love Freddie's solo stuff as well. When you have such a unique one off superstar like Freddie was, it is very difficult for me to hear a Queen song that is not song by Freddie and in Freddie's style.

Ok, let's say it were Brian who died and Freddie was still here. (horrible examples we have to deal with but it's come to this.) So..a great guitar legend has agreed to tour with them...let's say...Steve Vai. And so the Queen + Steve Vai tour begins...would you complain? I doubt there'd be that many moaners as there is now.

On the other side of the coin there are people on here who can't stop going on about how brilliant this tour is, so it works both ways. At least the topics I start provoke a response from both sides. Or would you rather reply to these "100's of Top 5 this and that posts?". Another set of people who bore the pants of me on here are the ones who are "obessed" with after each gig knowing what the fucking set list was. Did they play this did they play that, why was this song missed off. So fuckin what, who cares. I hope to god these gigs are a one off.
