the picture was taken in Antwerp by Tony from Holland. This was exactly how the poor chap was sitting/kneeling and staring at Roger throughout the concert.
I do not want any google ads here.

Yes it is true, a small man with glowing eyes was watching Roger to see if Monkeys would fly out of his A..

Since the rest of the band had them removed, the only ones left be in Roger

YES! That's him! Look at the expression on his face. Soooo intense.

It does look like he's holding a pair of sticks in his right hand.

He is the roadie, he has to take care of Roger's needs on stage. Hand him water, switch on the fan, hand him the mike when goes to the front of the stage to sing. There is nothing weird about it. On previous tours the audience just did not see the roadie because he was always sittiing behind Roger. On few occasions you can spot him in the videos. The only "weird" thing about this poor guy was that everybody could see him in this really uncomfortable position.

I think that he is well paid to sit in this uncomfortable position :)

I never noticed him there before you mentioned it but I had a look at my Newcastle pics, and indeed, he's in every one of them, sitting in that very same position!! He must have had a rather sore behind after the 2 hours every night =D

But I don't pity him for that, I'd do it anytime ;)

does he have to crouch?! he could at least kneel...^.^ then again, i would do anything just to watch Roger
