Yep..tomorrow, I turn............44!!!!

Oh, the insanity! I can't be THAT old. half a day left at 43...

No wonder I feel like CRAP...I'm pre-menopausal.

Somebody get me a HOT young guy to make me feel young again....Hayden Christensen....Honey...where are you!!!! Use your lightsaber on me!!!!

By the way, when I was 21 in the Navy I had a fling with this EXTREMELY beautiful and very energetic woman, I swore she couldn't have been more than 25.. and I liked older women anyways.. this was in Australia... Pardon the speech but the sex was just amazing.. well one day this gent walks in the house.. no knocks.. he looks at me and asks me if the game was any good, as I was watching Rugby.. I replied that it was different.. so here I am thinking.. "great, this is her husband, boyfriend... something.. " at that moment he walks into the kitchen where she is and gives her a BIG OLD HUG and a kiss on the cheek.. now I am certain I am dead.. and just then he says, "G'Day mum.. what's for dinner.. " and I was shocked.. and said.. "umm.. Mum? MOM?" and she said, "oops, forgot to tell ya.. " and I asked her just how old she is.. and that I NEVER asked before.. and she replied.. "44" well.. I tell ya, if she was that good looking at 44.. I really wish I would have met her younger.. of course me being 21 at THAT time couldn't have been able to do such a task. so in short (I know.. too late) 44 isn't a curse.. it can be a blessing..

Thanks Mike!

Hey..at Live Aid..when Tina Turner was at her sexiest peak, shaking her ass in black leather S&M costumes with Mick Jagger, she was 46!

Whe Cher was her sexiest, started her solo music & movie career in the late 1980's and was shaking her tatooed ass..she was 46!

So I STILL have 2 more years to go til I even am my sexiest! Something to look forward to! :)

Hey Arlene,
I am wanting to do a blog of things that just would not be appropriate for the Queenzone part, and I noticed that you use 2 others, of those which would you recommend to use? the myspace, or the Blogspot?
My Brothers and Sisters all hated me 'cause I was an only child... -Weird Al (Generic Blues) I gave up on books when 'To Kill A Mockingbird' gave me no useful advice on how to kill a mockingbird.

Here's the deal. I want a blog that gets traffic or otherwise it's like the old saying..if a tree falls in a forest...and no one is there to hear it, was there a sound?

I ALSO want to discuss NON personal stuff, and comment on music, arts, & entertainment issues, artists & the industry..and obviously want the "right" people in the industry to see it, as well as fans.

Here's the deal with blogspot. Richard recommended blogspot..which I personally LOVE...it gets lots of traffic, is FREE, has great webpage design features, is VERY easy to use just like Queenzone with no technical errors, and people discuss news, entertainment, etc.

Here is the deal with myspace. The ONLY reason I set that up, last of my 3 blogs, is that I read 2 articles in Entertainment Weekly Magazine that it is the 6th most trafficked blog on the world wide web....and that..BIG artists from My Chemical Romance to Billy Corgan have blogs on there, (which I checked out & they do). But, I have had NOTHING but problems with myspace.

Technically, it is the WORST. It publishes my posts out of sequence, cuts off stuff, puts the wrong date on it, (like say I post something today June 8 Wednesday, it will say "Published Thursday June 9), the site is ALWAYS down for maintenence, and...worst...I get like zero traffic.

But...Mypsace is renowned for people who want to do very personal diaries & thoughts. (not something I need, but other people do have that need).

Since I already set up myspace, I just copy and publish the exact same stuff on all 3 of my blogs..and do so to SEE which blog, is the best in terms of...

1) Traffic
2) design
3) Technical problems or lack thereof
4) Type of Content you want to discuss

Actually...and I am not just saying this cuz I am typing this on QZ...but Richard....I HOPE you ARE reading this, as I have had a WONDERRFUL experience with my QZ blog.

TONS of traffic, GREAT design, and except for the glitches on the QZ blog site launch day where tech. problems were expected and Richard told me he wanted me to tell him about them so he could get the bugs out...I have had NO tech. problems.

My first blog that I started was blogspot
Then Queenzone
Then Myspace about 3 weeks ago.

But of myspace & blogspot... I like blogspot, which....BTW...had a nice mention in the Star Wars Playboy, in the Star Wars article on page 94, where they noted a Star Wars fan who had a blog on blogspot!

So for stuff like that Blogspot is great!

BUT......if what you want to discuss is...how do I say...VERY personal stuff, like a diary & your feelings...that is more what you see on Myspace, so for THAT use MYSPACE!

See I want to discuss NOT personal stuff, but music & entertainment & issues about that.

Hope this helps. Good luck! :)

I agree with you about the QZ blog, but I just can't bring myself to posting some of the stuff that I really want to share on the QZ blog.. Oh I know it will not stop the younger people from reading it, but at least I am not aiming my trash at them to see, they will have to go there to read it. and it is not always going to be nasty stuff.. some of it will be in like a story form about some of my adventures, or what I am thinking about the current topics going on.. and from what you have said, I think that myspace should be the way to go.. that way in case someone tries to connect the dots it will not lead to you too quickly.. ;-)

The Billy Corgan (from band The Smashing Pumpkins) blog on Myspace is not really about or to promote his music.

It's about his bad childhood, and his purging himself of ex-band members who have mistreated him and his very personal thoughts and feelings.
