There's a Glaswegien version of this game but it normally ends up with someone getting stabbed within three moves.
Anyway, I'm giving odds of 4-1 on Bohardy winning.

Well played, Banquo - you've called my treble bluff. Seeing as I've already played Embankment, I've nothing left to follow that manoeuvre.

I have no choice but to fold.

As you've put an overland station into the equation Banquo you leave me no choice but to play my get out of Finsbury Park free card, I do hope this does not contravene the full house patent rule of 1930.

And so I move to Neasden.

You do realise Flashy that you could have had the game won with your next move. Shame that!

***ANTI-FOLD CARD***

Aha! You've fallen for the oldest trick in the book, Brimon! As if I would have made a genuine fold move at such a key point of the contest - especially so soon after invoking a 'Zone 3 Freeze'!
(I refer you to the Schmidt-Dogget World Semi-Final 2001, and the subsequent change to the rules following the bitter Jubilee/Victoria Semi-Jink flyover amendments).

But I admit that Neasden has caught me completely off guard, so this time I genuinely will have to fold, making my above move redundant.

I remember a match in 1978 when Garden played Neasden there was uproar at the sheer audacity of the move then an even bigger cheer when the gathered masses realised that it was the only way to get out of the full house patent move of 1930 (remember in under-21's this does not exist). I honestly can't think of the next move without breaking the 'Shatner's Basoon' rule.
Guess who's back?

Some player, was Garden. The People's Champion if ever there was one.

Lived as a recluse for the last 25 years. Some folk reckon they've played him on-line y'know, but it can't be proved it's him.

He broke the ten year Shepton Mallet monopoly of the title, and the game hasn't been the same since.

I want to learn how to play.

Well by now Lisser you should have a very good idea as to how the game is played, and I hope to see you participating in future games.

I'm invoking the 24hour Northern Line Buskers ruling, paragraph 3. Which I would like to rename on this occassion as, 'Lissers Flange Movement.

And hence, thus, and therefore play,

MORNINGTON CRESCENT.

Aren't you offside though?
B
The offside rule was abolished in 1989 PG. Did you not read the Brent-Lyttleton Report that successfully proved that the offside rule was unfairly biased towards left-handed players?
Gullibility and credulity are considered undesirable qualities in every department of human life -- except religion.

A masterstroke Brimon, I haven't seen such a wonderful flange for a long while. And, if I may so, a move eerily reminiscent of Garden himself.

Hmm... I wonder?

A fine performance from everyone involved. Look out for the All-England and Isle Of Man Gentleman's Club Knock-out this Summer I think it starts 19th August in Knobscratche in Herefordshire. Guest of honour? The fine player Rushton. Not played since 1996.
Guess who's back?
