I'm far from 16, but I must admit that Queen II is not my favorite. I much prefer ANATO/ADATR/NOTW to Queen II.
It is very strange to hear a Queen fan say that he didn't even like a single song from Queen II.

IMHO, I much prefer SHA or ADATR to Q2. The only exceptional songs off of Q2 are FFMS & TMOTBQ. The rest of Q2 is not nearly as good as the following songs from SHA or ADATR:
SHA - BR, KQ, FOTW, ITLOTG, SCC, BBTLB
ADATR - TYMD, YTMBA, TMW, STL, TT

It's not that I don't like _any_ songs on the album. I've always liked Orge Battle, but most of the other songs range from just _okay_ to rather dull. I have to be in the right mood to listen to Queen II; otherwise, I'm likely to pop in ADATR or NOTW.

i can't get the purists who hail ANATO as THE ONE - i just don't get it - II is much better, and queen I is close behind
i love the energy, the production, the whymsical songwriting and the absolute overblown creative exploration - side black of queen II is (IMO) the finest side of ANY ALBUM anywhere[/QUOTE]

Queen II is mega.
But, I guess only if you like the more rock/metal side of Queens sound. It is also not the most instant album and I guess some people have not given it the time to get to know (and love) it.
