To my braces! Sorry for anyone that was looking for another great goodbye post. :) I'm so happy; now I can eat candy apples again! Not that I like them anyway, but at least I have the option back.

Thanks Arlene. :) I've been pretty much ignoring my orthodontist and eating all those things anyway but it'll be nice to have them off anyway!
Just brush your teeth extra good in between and get a thorough check up at the dentist.
Reason, I had my braces on for about 4 years.
When the orthodontist removed them, my dentist found about 3 cavities. Staight teeth, but with cavities, as a result of not being able to bruch good in the places that the braces were, or where food got trapped or stuck.

CONGRATS!!!! I just recently got my off, and it feels GREAT!! You're going to love it!!! And, I bet you'll probably brush your teeth like five times a day for the first two weeks like I did. lol
I"m back to brushing them 2-3 times a day, but it's just so easy to brush them after you get them off since you're used to a metal mouth that it's crazy!

Congrats! I used to have braces. I took them off when I was 12 and I'm like 17 now. Well, I remember licking my teeth a lot when I got them off. Hehehe.
It was a cool feeling. Next step, retainer.
I didn't need my retainer when I was 14 years old. They are a lot better than braces. I still have my bottom retainer though.

I'm praying that mine will come off at the end of the summer.
