Val, I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to be nasty at all. I was new to torrents myself only 6 months or so ago. I've just noticed a lot of people misuse the terms here recently, which can be potentially confusing.

If your download is indeed complete, and you still have the torrent client open, you are indeed seeding. My client is not reporting any other seeds, and I've only uploaded 490MB so I can't see how you have completed the download. You could be a seed though without downloading it, for instance if you already had the file (the exact same file) on your computer and you just downloaded the torrent and pointed it to the file. Then you'd also be seeding.

I don't know which client you are using, so I can't answer anthing particular to the client.

I was talking about the mp3 version of the show on February 28th 1979 in Paris!!

My firewall decided to stop all outgoing traffic just after I went to bed last night :(

I'm seeding again now. Most are around 77%. It should only take a few hours from here.

It *should* have taken only a few hours, but for some reason my connection has been on an absolute crawl all day. This is getting ridiculous. 2+ days for a 650MB file? Oh well. Patience will get us there. Many are at nearly 90%.

As you say, this is only a few days old, and there are no seeders?

The torrent was downloaded over 200 times, and I know for a fact that well over 70 completed the download during my initial seeding. When there were 69 seeds, I cut out. The way I see it, is I supplied it, I spent two days seeding it, now it's everyone else's turn. If 70 people can't keep a seed alive for a few days, what hope have we got.

Richard, when is that sharing quota going to be introduced. This is getting silly.

I can't seed right now. I'm busy doing some dvd work, and I need all my cpu's attention. Someone else will have to come to the party. Sorry.

Don't trust your torrent program to be accurate when you are seeding. I use Azureus and when I seed, it often shows less seeders than are really there.

Checking the QZ Tracker, which has the most accurate info on the seeders/leechers, there have been 7+ seeders all night on this torrent.
