Well, scuse me for getting into this, but YV DOES have a point. Not necessarily in the sence that everybody needs to 'thank' someone particular or an unknown source on another website, while uploading a show. But it is a bit awkward (and a pretty stupid thing to do if you want to be considered 'serious' traders in the 'serious' traderscommunity) to share dozens of shows pretending they are up here thanks to your generosity, promoting your own trading-website, while in fact all of the files are simply downloaded elsewhere and copy-pasted onto the QZ messageboard...
Indeed I think we got Houston from like the hub. Ow no it totally slipped my mind we got it from Kazaa.
My opinion lies somewhere in the middle between Jerome/Thijs's one and YV/jeroen's one.
What I do think is that YV could better have send an e-mailto Jerome. I don't see the piont of making a topic about this.
If where talking bout politeness, people could better have made a topic that it isn't polite to make topics in spanish, it isn't polite to make a hunderd topic bout a subject people know it has been posted before. and I can go on. Why aim at one persone while you could aim at a way bigger problem?

And btw, as opposite of some of you I don't live on Queen. I'm part of this crew because I know a lot about concerts over the years so I wanted to share my knowledge with it.
I lost my collecting spirit a while ago so for example Jeroen can brag about his Drammen concert as much as he wants, but point 1, I couldn't care less and point 2, there are more people having it and it will leak so don't get all that excited.
Someone said that "a Dutch teenager" or something like that was "trying to rule the trading business" <-- as you can see I don't give a fuck about what you people write, but at least this teenager knows a lot about Queen and shouldn't be underestemated.
Say all that you want about me or about our website, for instance that we are arrogant brats. But if we really were that arrogance and maybe greedy, then I wonder why so many people where happy with what we have shared before, which can't be said of people that call theirselves so called "serious traders".
We trade and sometimes share things, but only if the person we got it from approves.
And I won't be begging for concerts like Drammen or Atlanta '77.
People still contact US for trades so that must mean that we're still doing a great job, as opposite of what many people claim that our site will fade away soon.
I don't think people with real rare stuff are willing to trade with you guys if you keep behaving like you guys are doing.
And in Holland we have a proverb which goes like this: Wie kaatst moet de bal verwachten. Which means something like The one who tosses the ball, has to expect that he'll recieve it back.
In other words... We feel that we are treated unfairly here, so why not treat the ones here unfair?
Why not? Because you won't make any friends from it. One of the basic tenets of Christainity (and no, don't look at me. I'm a raging atheist) is 'turn the other cheek'. That is what you need to do here.
I think you breakthru boys should take a deep breath, and forget about all this stuff. The original call for politeness was fair enough, and you apologised. That should have been the end of it. I'm not blaming you that you kept it going, but it serves no-ones purposes (especially your own) by getting all huffed up about it and basically saying screw you..
Put your pride away, and don't get drawn into to stupid arguments. There is also a great saying in English: 'Don't burn your bridges' Take a chill pill.

I never did call myself an elite trader. I'm just saying that I don't like the behaviour of the breaktrhu trading crew. That's why I'm not willing to trade with you guys. I really think that I'm not the only collector who feels this way. Time will tell I guess.
Have fun trading. Do it your way and learn the hard way: I don't mind. Good luck with getting the real rare stuff. You won't get mine.

I Uploaded the Brixton 2005 dvd on Dime and was happy to share this with other collectors.
It cost me 20 Pounds to buy but was still happy sharing free of charge.
I never upped this show to get thanks and i would up more if i had the time.
All the thanks i want when i upload a show is to see lots of people downloading it.
Lets be honest these are all bootlegs we dont own them so what gives us the right to get thanks for them?

It has nothing to do with sharing rare concerts. It is all about attitude and hype.
If the dutch boys could behave more like Fairy Feller (he uploaded the rare Milwaukee 75 and Kassel 82 concerts) perhaps the dutch boys would not be so controversial and not have image issues.
