It'll be interesting. But I've got to put my faith in the Lions. I think we are going to get beaten though.
I'd rather see England beat the Aussies in the Ashes than the Lions return triumphant from the tour though!

Man, it's times like the whole rugby seasons and shit that I wish NZ would get the fuck over themselves. We treat sport here like it's the only thing worth living for - and all the games have taken over Saturday night's movies on 3.
I never really had anything against NZ and our sport obsession 'til that fucking Dave Dobbyn 'Loyal' song and the add to go with hit TV last year. But after that, I was through - and I'm rooting for the Lions.

I really don't understand why anyone could ever see me from THAT point of view, but okay... :P
Agreed. Rugby's an okay game to watch sometimes but it's so pathetic how obsessive people get about it. The ABs and their haka as well...it's not a battle to the death.
It also really gets me that they insist on referring to the Lions tour as an 'invasion' - I mean, come on! The Vikings invaded Britain, the US invaded Iraq, New Zealand has NOT been invaded; it's a simple matter of some sports fans going on holiday to watch a few matches. Nothing hostile about it.
But on the topic...the Lions got quite the arse-kicking, didn't they? 21-3!
