10 hours sleep over 4 nights (not bad I thought) had to work this afternoon equals completly knackered. Man it was good! No mention of a months rain in eight hours thanks!! My weekend:

Fri:
Tom Vek - Not bad. 6/10
Editors - Great of course. 8/10
Maximo Park - the John Peel Stage was rammed and they didn't dissapoint. 8.5/10
The Zutons - 7th time I've seen them and great again. 8.5/10
Elvis Costello - my dad would have been proud. 8/10
Bloc Party - these guys could never be bad. 8.5/10
The Killers, the final three songs were fantastic. 9/10
The White Stripes - by this time I was knackered, they were good but my wellies were starting to piss me off so didn't blow me away. 8/10

Sat. Art Brut - awesome totally awesome, some great lyric changes. 10/10
Kaiser Chiefs - when they got the dinosaur on stage was hilarious. 9/10
Ash - Brilliant set, full of all the classics. 9/10
BBQ whilst listening to The Boring Coral, watched three songs of The Subways.
Keane - they looked amazed at the crowd. Played a great set but no On A Day Like Today. 9/10
New Order - only watched half before running (read walking carefully through mud) for...
Magic Numbers - who were amazing, blew the place away. 10/10
Coldplay - you've already read how good the set was. 10/10

Sun - Brendon Benson - cool. 7/10
Thirteen Senses - Poor Man's Coldplay. 6/10
Ambulance LTD - better than Cake thats for sure. 7/10
Dresden Dolls - fantastic, should have been on for a lot longer. Check out this band!!! 10/10 Brian Wilson - Legend, say no more. 10/10

Then went up to the green fields and couldn't be arsed to watch Basement Jaxx,Ian Brown or Primal Scream, or any of the other stuff on.

What an experience though. My favourite three. 3rd Dresden Dolls. 2nd Magic Numbers 1st Coldplay.
Other highlights include having a chat with Romeo lead singer of The Magic Numbers, getting my photo taken with the lead singer of Misty's Big Adventure and fit girls in wellies. Yummie.

I'll put some pics up when I can be arsed (after sleep!!).

The pure mention of wellies make me shudder. Eight hours of rain and a whole weekend in the mud - I was never young enough to enjoy that. Hopefully, it won't rain in the Hyde Park.
I do not want any google ads here.

No less than three stages were struck by lightning. There was no power at all until just before midday so the first couple of acts had to be cancelled.

My tent survived, we were up the hill a little bit, if it carried on I might have woken up swimming. There were so many tents just left totally covered in mud. Unlucky for them. Everyone I spoke to had the time of their lives though!

Madam, you have between your legs an instrument capable of giving pleasure to thousands and all you can do is scratch it. -Sir Thomas Beecham to a lady cellist

Wellies are waterproof rubber boots which grow in countries where the cars drive on the wrong side of the street and people ejoy it when their tents are flooded with mud :)

You need to get in it and figure out where the tear in the liner is.
