Robbie was good. Most of you have said a lot of times that 'Paul Rodgers is not Freddie, so don't wait to hear Freddie's versions of songs' so what the hell you think that Robbie is Freddie?! He sung song in his own way.
B
in his own way, yes....

singing the wrong words and making a mockery of the song.

I hope Brian & Roger are pleased with themselves.

How many the wrong words Paul Rodgers sung during the tour?

It got the crowd going - he did his job. So what if he didn't sing the words correctly - 200,000 people at Hyde Park didn't give shit, they just partied and joined in. Shit, I am surprised no-one has mentioned the half mic stand yet - that's worth another 198 pages of Robbie Williams being a wanker for trying to be like Freddie.
Cleveland May 24 to June 4th 2007 - I came, I saw, I fucked off home again.

He was good in own right, althought of course not comparable to Fred ....but then again who is but give him his dues that guy CAN sing...he certainly knows how to entertain....just look at the number of fans that love him and enjoyed him last night

The fact that so many people are comparing him to Freddie suggests that he has something...
"You're so far back in the closet you're in bloody Narnia!"

Sorry for my terrible english ;) Out in the city, in the cold world outside I don't want pity, just a safe place to hide Mama please, let me back inside

Oh no i agree that Robbie stole the show and got the crowd jumping but wwry was brutal, like how many times has he sang it before, he even recorded it for the soundtrack of a Knights tale it just pisses me off that he cant remember the words.

yep don't get me started on the tour, either :D

Absolute, postive, total and utter shite. He murdered that song. He sang the wrong words and I am sure Freddie's ashes would have been spinning. Pink Floyd and The Who rocked tho ! :-p

Robbie gave a good show, the audience loved it as far as I could see. But it was more an ego-trip than a performance for the cause. And WWRY? He brought the music of Queen to Live 8. The lyrics? He always sings it like that so what's the problem? If he'd tried to copy Queen or Freddie than we wouldn't be pleased either. It was his first performance in two years as he said. Think what you like but this man does have a talent as a showman. He does think he has the biggest ego in the world, but if he did not have an attidude he wouldn't be performing, would he.
(a lot of you might like that I guess...)
