I had turned on Live8 just as Green Day were doing the song American Idiot.. and watched until they went to a commercial, they being VH1.. and they, Green Day, Didn't play Champions on the VH1 broadcast.. it wasn't until just a couple moments ago that I got to see it, and I thought they did GREAT... you have to understand they are a little harder than Queen so it wasn't a direct cover.. :)

I Must say it's a pretty nice performance and did you noticed the Red Special Guitar it's a very nice copy of it!:D...

i'm not much a Green Day fan but I think the singer did a better job than Robbie Williams.
