Saturday I had 4th of July plans...so I had to drive to my friends house for a cookout from about 5:30 pm to 7:00pm. So I missed that much of Live 8.
I also have been away the last 2 days.
I read alot on here...from what I have read...
...Queen+Paul Rodgers did NOT? send a satellite message....to Live 8. (or did they)
If they did..what was it.
If they did NOT..anybody know why?
Please let me know one way or the other.

I don't believe there was a message broadcast on TV. i had it on most of the day and watched most of it, just in case. I enjoyed it and wasn't only watching for the message, but it was an incentive.
They probably did send one, and they might have played it on the screens when the tV broadcast (i'm talking uk and bbc here) had presenters backstage talking to the artists between sets.
Or they sent a message, but it got cut due to things running late etc. Who knows.

Seems They had no time to broadcast due to running times of some bands, and setting up stages went on too long.
The did not send. Bastards.
