in the recent classic rock there was a list of the 50 greatest power ballads from which queen were disqualified for being "too theatrical". if they hadnt been bizarrly disqualified which queens power ballad(s) do you believe should be in the top 50
T
'Mother Love'
'Love Of My Life'
'Las Palabras De Amor'
'Who Wants To Live Forever'

What do you think? I think there are many more ;)

We may not forget 'A Winter´s Tale'! It´s a absolutely fantastic song!
But my favourite one is 'Mother Love'!

"love of my life" and "a winter's tale" are very far from being power ballads. They're just ballads.

i would say somebody to love & its a hard life are power balladish and what about im in love with my car :op

but really Queen didn’t do power ballads, i think they left it to the Americans who seam to have wrote all the power ballads
T
I think 'Love Of My Life' and 'It´s A Hard Life' are some of the best songs they ever did!
'I´m In Love With My Car' shows how much Rog loves cars!

The Show Must Go On is probably the best Queen power ballad, I'm not sure Who Wants To Live Forever really counts....

ooooh, Mother Love! definetly! ^.^
Freddie Mercury is my sexi moon lobster "Mis francais est la meme que before. C'est un peu crap"-Brian May "I'm just a musical prostitute, my dear!" -Freddie Mercury

Yeah, 'Mother Love' is my favourite one.
What´s about 'In The Lap Of The Gods'?

Please define 'power ballad'.
When life hands you lemons, add vodka.

Save Me, Sail Away Sweet Sister were two great ones...also Who Wants To Live Forever, Don't Try So Hard, Too Much Love, Mother Love...they had a few....at least the first two aren't very theatrical...
