How to structure MIDI recordings

Hello,
I know this is hard but can anyone tell me how to structure together MIDI Queen songs, and Guitar and Drums, so the volume doesn't overtake one another
Without Studio Technology of course

Play the two instruments at the same volume.

Or move the microphone nearer to one than the other.
