Btw, I wasn't searched but every cubic centimeter of my backpack was. They let me keep my drinks, really glad about that since it was 30 degrees or something. =)

Yep, they've searched my backpack and guess where I hid the equipment... in my backpack. Obviously they haven't found it ;) There was also security walking outside the venue in regular clothing, not with those green security polo's. They were probably walking around the floor during the gig as well. Luckily they haven't seen me doing my thing either.

I really hate these venues because of the security being so tight. I've got no problems at all during gigs in clubs like the Paradiso or Tivoli. They don't even want to search my bag over there :D I see that you're from the UK. I've been there to see Feeder at the Hammersmith Apollo. The security was very relaxed over there as well. I didn't need to hide my equipment at all. The only thing they were interested in were tickets :)
