does anyone read queen biography books?

i have read lots there great tell what happened to queen when they got there first taste of fame and how there lives were like before fame, how hard they wanted this dream, theres lots on freddie and some on brian which are fantastic how brian tryed to got over his first wife, spilted up with her on 1987, also on freddie how he use to give idears to smile went to wreckage to sour milk to smile then queen had a few bass players ect..so anyway that a little taster to these books if you havent read them yet...
mercury and me is a good one jim hutton wrote this one king of queen is fab laura jackson wrote it the brian may story again laura jackson wrote it theres so many...just wonna no what ones you have read or thing is good or want to get...

Yep. I read Queen:As it began, and i read Queen the early years. Two very good books.

Yep I have and love ''Queen The Early Years''. I often re-read stuff in it too to refresh my memory and compare it with other stuff I read about Queen.

"Queen The Early Years" is my favorite biography book...there are many stuffs I've been impressed by.

I read a lot of them, I'm too lazy to name them all.

I've read Greg Brooks' (non-revised, full of some errors) Queen Live: A Concert Documentary and Queen: The New Visual Documentary by Ken Dean (out of print). Greg's book is definately my favourite. Both have excellent pics, though. As far as Freddie stuff, I'm re-reading Peter "Phoebe" Freestone's book for the.... fourth time. I've yet to get my hands on Mercury And Me. For a while I always felt that it was just Jim trying to make more money off of Freddie (a part of me still feels that way).

Yea I read Queen the official biography. I thought it was pretty good and of course I bawled my eyes out when Freddie died. WAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
I borrowed Mercury and Me from the library....10 months ago....Im so not bringing it back. That was really good with excellent photos. I have Queen:the Early Years, and yes I did buy it this time. Its good, really detailed and perfect for anyone who wants to know every single detail about Queens first years.
I really want to read Brians biography...I'll see if the library have it...:P lol

I have most of the biographies in my collection. It's always great to read up on the band even if I've read them all a dozen times before. The first one I got was the one by Larry Pryce back in the late 70's and just started collecting from there.

I've read many in the past, some I don't even remember the name of, but the ones I do remember and that have been the most recent ones are "Freddie Mercury: The Definitive Biography" by Leslie-Ann Jones, "Mercury and Me" by Jim Hutton, "An Intimate Memoir" by Peter Freestone and "The Show Must Go On" by Rick Sky... as you can see they are all Freddie Mercury biographies.

I've read Peter Freestone and Jim Hutton's books, Queen: As It Began and a Queen picture/biograhpy by Ken Dean.

has roger got a biography/autobiography?
