Did you guys notice that when we change the signature in our profile then all of our signatures change, even those that appeared in very old posts?

my nickname hasn't changed on my old posts even though it is the same account :S, my name was Keep Yourself Alive before.
They only save your userid at the background and not the whole nickname, for the simply fact that this saves diskspace. Everytime they display a page, they show you the nickname that fits by the userid. Same goes for the signature.
